New conversion homes now for sale in Hackney

Five new apartments are now available at a conversion development in one of the oldest garden squares in Hackney, in the East End of London, where purchasers may use the Help to Buy London scheme to acquire their ideal home.

No 15 Clapton Square is a project by NestEast and has seen a Grade II listed property fully restored Grade II listed property built in 1816, where there are three one-bedroom apartments from just £395,000. Above the Help to Buy threshold are two three-bedroom apartments, one of which is a duplex, starting at £695,000. The building has retained original features such as leaded fan lights above doors, pilasters, sash windows, six-panelled doors, columns, porches, ornamental cast-iron balconies and original extra-high Georgian skirting boards.

Zuzie Poskitt, managing director at NestEast says: “We offer homes which are innovative and complement a building’s history, yet also offer a modern, unique finish which is seldom seen. It is very rare to offer new homes in an historic building which also has Help to Buy available, and we think this will enhance the desirability for first time buyers looking to live in this trendy London district.”

Fashionable Hackney is blessed with a host of green spaces as well as markets, independent shops, bars and restaurants, with Hackney Central Overground station seven minutes’  walk from Clapton Square.
